Should I get an iPad or an iMac?
Okay, so I’m having a hard time trying to decide whether I should buy an iPad or an iMac. I currently have a MacBook and I love it. My MacBook’s screen is terribly small so it’s really hard for me to multitask. I constantly game, chat, browse, and work on my computer and I almost ALWAYS have to slowly but surely work on one thing at a time due to the small screen. I KNOW I need to get something else to increase productivity.
I’m between the iPad and iMac.
With the iMac I will gain a crazy fast computer for gaming and such. All the gaming I do is fine for Macs but my games, while playable, aren’t amazing on my MacBook. It will also be convenient because when friends come over there will be two computers available. I will be able to multi task amazingly and I’ll even have a back up computer if need be.
With the iPad I would have sheer portability. Not only would I be able to multi task, I would also be able to multi task on the go! The iPad also has the amazing iBooks feature. I’ve been wanting to get back into reading for a long time now and this could be the perfect chance. On the other hand I would lose the ability to be able to have friends use the computer also, but the price on the iPad is great compared to the iMac.

the iPad is the worst product apple ever spewed out its butt. dont waste $500 on something named after a tampon that really is nothing more than a big iPod touch that cant even use YouTube.

Get the iMac, no question about it, the ipad is still in progress, never buy first generation. iMac is a fully working computer/laptop, ipad is simply just a gadget as far as anyone is concerned.
